Jeffersonville, IN. - Clark County Auto Auction is delighted to announce a $2 million donation to Greater Clark County Schools. The donated facility occupies 14,000 sq. feet located at 1611 E 10th Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Greater Clark County Schools has started the process of transforming secondary schools under the Ford Next Generation Learning model through the implementation of career and interested-themed academies. The transformation of learning also requires the transformation of teaching, which will enable students to learn and apply academic, 21st century and technical knowledge’s and skills to real-world challenges.

“Becoming a member of the Ford Next Generation Learning network is a prestigious accomplishment that is possible because of our key business partners, such as the Fetter family. Dr. Melin says, Superintendent of Greater Clark County Schools. “We greatly appreciate their support of Greater Clark County Schools and their donation will provide the space needed to train our staff members as we work to transform our district and community.”

The Mark Fetter Center for Professional Learning will be a key component of the transformation as it will allow the necessary space needed to host professional development opportunities, such as project-based learning, for over 750 teachers. The center will provide the necessary support for teachers to increase student achievement and ensure students are accepted to a post-secondary opportunity.

“Over the past 2 years, we have become extremely close to the Greater Clark County School administration. We have learned about their desires and goals as a school corporation and have explored ways we could help them obtain them. Matt Fetter says, President of Clark County Auto Auction. “When we initially met with Greater Clark County Schools, we knew it was a great fit and it was the beginning of a wonderful partnership. We admire the work they are doing and are excited to see our building used for something that will not only impact the community at large, but every child and teacher involved.”
